This 6-Ingredient Homemade Vanilla Granola Recipe is amazingly delicious & easy to make! All you need is one bowl and about 30 minutes. Big, crunchy clusters of lightly sweetened oats and nuts with a touch of vanilla make this the best, easy, & healthy granola.
Granola is one of my favorite breakfast recipes to make, when I decide to splurge and grab some coconut milk yogurt. Store bought versions are alright, but creating your own is a whole new level of deliciousness. Why? You can customize it to your liking!
The basics of granola are simple:
Oats
Sugar
Some sort of oil or fat
Spices
All you need are just a few basic ingredients to make a perfect snack or breakfast that isn't heavily loaded with preservatives or refined sugars.

All you have to do is combine the dry and wet ingredients and spread on a baking sheet and bake until golden.
The best part of making your own granola is that it is not only easy, but you can customize it to however you like. You can add any spices, dried fruits, coconut, or anything else you desire!

Some Final Thoughts & Tips:
Additional Add-Ins: If you want, feel free to add in any dried fruit, nuts, or seeds of your choice. I love adding in dried cranberries, whole flax seeds, and raw sunflower seeds.
Sweetener Options: For sweeteners, you can use maple syrup or agave. If you aren't vegan or don't mind using honey, you can use that as well. Really any liquid sweetener will do! My favorite to use is maple!
Store it like a PRO: If you have any leftover granola make sure to store it in an airtight container! This keeps it 100% fresh. If it is very warm & humid where you live, you may also benefit from storing it in the fridge as well.
