This 2-Ingredient Homemade Fruit Roll Ups recipe is a simple and delicious way to make your own fruit leather. Healthy, perfectly sweet, & an amazing snack for work or school!

As a kid, I was lucky that my mom would make these occasionally. Most often, it was just applesauce, dairy yogurt, or a mix of both layered in the dehydrator they had. The impatience in me was strong back then I usually did not want to wait for it to be done, leaving me to just eat it halfway dried out.

What can I say, I love a good fruit roll up.

Anyways, after much research, I have found you can also make these in the oven, but here's why I prefer the dehydrator method:

  1. It is simple

  2. Less Fuss

  3. You can actually leave your house

If you use your oven, you are going to be in your house for up to 8 hours waiting for the fruit puree to dry. That sounds like tedious work and much rather just pour the puree in a dehydrator and let it sit overnight. That way you won't be thinking before you go to sleep or leaving your house, "Did I forget to turn the oven off?"

Luckily with this recipe you can use whatever combinations suit your taste buds. For me, I used a mix of strawberries and blueberries. I would like to share that it was indeed divine.

Spiritual Pit Stop

I want you to bring up something in your life that is challenging, that you fear, that you are resisting, a pattern (Example: only attract guys that are emotionally unavailable, feel unseen at workplace, etc...). When you have that in your mind, I want you to ask yourself, "What is this teaching me?"

Journal it out, speak it aloud to yourself, but really go deep in figuring out the WHY.

Each circumstance in your life is a teacher. Sometimes forming a pattern of events until you learn that lesson.

Some Final Thoughts & Tips

  • Dehydrator: This recipe requires a dehydrator. Either find one from a goodwill or order it online, but that is essential to this recipe! Make sure to have it on the fruit and veggies setting or 140-160 degrees F.

  • Variations & Additions: Mix any fruit that you want and try out different combinations! You can even make this with any non-dairy yogurt of your choice.

  • Store it: Store your roll ups in an airtight container for up to one week, maybe a week and half tops.
