Easy Spicy Peanut Sauce (Soy-Free)

Updated: Aug 28, 2019

This easy Easy Spicy Peanut Sauce is free of soy, can be made in under 5 minutes, and only requires ONLY 7 simple ingredients you likely already have on hand. This tasty dish is spicy, peanuty, and is perfect on top of rice noodles for a quick meal.

Soy and I have a love-hate relationship. I love the taste it gives to food, tofu, tempeh, etc. Unfortunately, whenever I eat soy I don't feel that great afterwords and my skin says, "Oh Hell no!" You could say I stopped eating it. The sad part about this was that I felt like I had to give up one of my favorite dishes: Thai Peanut Noodles. I ate this quite often and created a recipe that worked perfectly until I had my realization that soy was no longer a pal I could throw into foods. I could have easily bought some coconut aminos, but I really did not want to spend $7 on it.

Alas, I found the perfect solution: Cloves & Molasses.

Yep, you read that right. For some reason, this makes it taste exactly like soy sauce, is quite easy to substitute in, and is simple & budget-friendly.

This Easy Spicy Peanut Sauce:

  • Quick

  • Delicious

  • Healthy

  • Soy-Free

I love the simplicity of this recipe, because you can whip up dinner in literally 5 minutes.

P.S. if you want to bring out the flavors of garlic & ginger a little more, saute them in either oil or water over medium heat for 5 minutes before blending!
