Sweet, salty, and caramely. For now, we can just pretend that is a word, but these little treats are incredible. Imagine a thick layer of luscious pecan pie filling on top of a crunchy cinnamon shortbread crust. Have I won you over?
Each year around the holidays or anytime we go anywhere, I am the only one who eats a plant-based diet. Meaning that I have to prepare all of my meals. It can get overwhelming and kind of annoying because I want to bring something that will knock the socks off of peoples' feet and having them asking for the recipe. Especially when you get comments like "Vegan, ew". Like come on you didn't give it a chance Susan, With that in mind, my mission was a SUCCESS. These Pecan Pie Bars were gone within the first hour. I felt accomplished.
