I do my hair toss, check my nails, baby how you feeling GIRL I AM FEELING GOOD AS HELL.
Why?
A stream of creativity has been reawakened and I am on fire and these Vegan Apple Cider Donuts are just the beginning.
Growing up my family and I would go apple picking, you know a basic Fall-themed thing to do. BUT the hands-down best part was not the apples we got (even though they were ah-mazing), rather it was the apple cider donuts tossed in cinnamon-sugar.
I have fond memories of those donuts and honestly, I would have preferred if we would have just gotten those instead of the apples.
So like most things when you go vegan you realize that you can't have those treats, so your girl veganized them to PERFECTION.
You are so welcome.

Nothing says comfort food like these apple cider donuts. Consider them a hug from fall. Luckily for you, you can either bake them OR fry them. (The fried version is the best #justsaying)
These donuts get infused with apple flavor two ways: 1) applesauce and 2) apple cider! Mix in some warming fall spices like cinnamon and you have got yourself a baked apple dream.
So if you are ready to make this amazing vegan dessert. Open up Spotify, turn on Lizzo's "Good as Hell", and let's do this!

Alright, so why are these Vegan Apple Cider Donuts the best?
Dairy-Free + Egg Free. Some donut recipes use butter and eggs to help with the texture and fluffiness, but no worries this recipe is completely free of both and tastes, dare I say... even better!
Simple. All you need are 7 basic ingredients for this. Yep, that is it.
Rich flavors. Something about cinnamon-sugar and apples just has perfection written all over it.

Some Final Thoughts & Tips:
Additions: You can add a dash of cinnamon to the batter for an extra splash of goodness.
How much does this make? Well, that depends on how big you make the donuts. I made about 8 large circular donuts. You can make them as small or as big as you would like!
Oil instead of applesauce? YEP. Just substitute out the applesauce for oil. (if you do this you will get a more fluffy texture too!)
Fried or Baked? I prefer fried, but baking them works just as well too. P.S. If you want to fry them, use about 2 cups of canola oil!
