Who doesn’t love Twix Bars? Before going vegan, this was hands down my favorite candy ever. You know when people would buy you gifts they would always place whatever candy you like the most in it. Well, let me tell you mine was always Twix. Caramel + chocolate + crunch = a quick bite of heaven. Unfortunately for me, Twix are not in anyway vegan, so it was about time that this classic treat got remade into a sweet new vegan version.
I want you to close your eyes for a moment and imagine a shortbread crust topped with a thick layer of soft gooey caramel coated in dark chocolate.
YES, please. That description alone sounds magnificent.
These homemade Vegan Twix Bars require only 10 ingredients, are incredibly easy to make, AND taste better than the original. Yeah, I said it. I am going to bring you even more good news. This recipe is refined sugar-free and gluten-free.
If you don’t have gluten-free all-purpose flour on hand and do not have a severe intolerance or celiac disease, you can easily substitute in regular flour! As with the coconut sugar, you can use brown sugar!
This Vegan Twix Bar Recipe is:

SO. DAMN. GOOD.
This is pretty much a gourmet vegan version of a Twix Bar with its tasty shortbread crust, coconut caramel center, and smooth chocolate coating. Your tastebuds are welcome in advance.
