Mac and Cheese is an American staple. Like most, I remember eating boxes of this artificial yellow cheese that somehow tasted amazing. Once I tried a whole foods version some odd years later, I was heavily disappointed.
If you are used to eating box mac and cheese, you are likely used to:

I would love to tell you it tastes just the same as a boxed version, but it doesn't. When I first tried a whole foods version, my taste buds were shook. I was honestly disappointed at first, but it has become only of my STAPLE meals that I make when I am in a hurry or don't know what to make!
Of course, I've decided to make my own Mac and Cheese recipe! Turns out I actually prefer this creamy, rich sauce. Just imagine pasta smothered in a velvety, cheesy, garlic sauce. Damn.
